GERTIE & DOLLY

Two rival 1940’s Starlets are TIME-WARPED to present day Hollywood and must depend on each other to survive in the modern world!

GERTIE and DOLLY, written and produced by Colleen Elizabeth Miller and Carolyn Vasko, is a fish out of water story about two curious, 1940’s actresses who are spontaneously time-warped to modern day Hollywood.
Colleen and Carolyn began writing the story as a webseries, but it has grown in something much more spectacular. Now having finished post-production on the pilot episode of GERTIE and DOLLY, their hopes are high for this comedy series future.

Filmed at the breathtaking Corriganville Movie Ranch, GERTIE and DOLLY’s first episode has aesthetics that will exceed anyone’s expectations.

Attention to 1940’s period detail was not overlooked when it came to costuming and set design.

With the help of the one of the industries best cameras, the Alexa Mini, Director Matthew Marder and Cinematographer Richard Galli left no stone un-turned.

GERTIE and DOLLY is being edited at TECHNICOLOR Studios in the heart of Hollywood, by Brian Lund.

Besides being the head online editor of The Simpsons for the last 14 years, Brian has worked on TV shows such as The West Wing, House, and The George Lopez Show.

We also have the Emmy Award Winning, Sr. Supervising VFX Artist at Technicolor, Mark Intravartolo, designing a very special transformation for our show.

Gertie and Dolly will have an original score by master composer John Massari. John is most well know for his colorful composition for the hit horror-comedy Killer Klowns From Outerspace, but he has also composed for many more equally amazing projects, both for film and television.

With expectations of it’s premier pilot screening in November of 2018, GERTIE and DOLLY is sure to be a smash hit.

Until then, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
