About.

Colleen is an Irish-Italian, thoroughly-enough-bred, loudmouth Chicagoan. Her only legit credit is a B.F.A. in Acting from Northern Illinois University.

In 2014 Colleen decided to make a long, 18 day trek, and she moved to Los Angeles, California. No, this was not to get away from the cold, but rather so she could pursue her dream of becoming an even more poor, more self-deprecating waitress.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles Colleen did not make her living acting and designing SFX make-up for Indie Horror Films. She also did NOT make ANY money performing on the stage in productions such as, the critically acclaimed CHERRYWOOD, or performing improv comedy in show such as SISTER BERNIE’S BINGO BASH and JUSTICE IS SERVED.

In Reality…

Colleen Elizabeth Miller is an American actress and filmmaker. She is best known for her intrinsic, comedic ability seen on both stage and screen. She is also classically trained in the performing arts, having received her Bachelor’s degree from the N.I.U. School of Theatre and Dance, as well as having studied acting abroad in Ireland at the Gaiety School of Acting and Trinity University.

Originally from Chicago, Colleen entertained audiences there performing improv comedy and acting in many acclaimed plays and independent feature films before moving to Los Angeles in 2014. Her performance in the feature film DRIFTED received the BEST ACTRESS award at the 2020 Hardcore Horror Film Festival.

Colleen’s filmmaking debut short film, ONE-ARMED RABBIT, also received many honors including, BEST ACTRESS at the 2018 Chicago Horror Film Festival, and the highest honor at The 2019 Twin Falls Sandwiches Film Festival, The GINNY AWARD.

You can catch Colleen this year in her recurring role on a hit AMC episodic (soon to be announced) and on the new comedy series KILLING IT, streaming on NBCuniversal’s Peacock.
